We arrived in Hamilton, and went straight to the Hamilton gardens – one of the biggest attractions. They had many themed gardens – one category included national gardens, including:
An Indian Char Bagh garden,
A Chinese Scholar’s garden,
And an Italian Renaissance garden (having spent 6 weeks in Italy, we think that even the Italians would have to be impressed with it).
There was also a Maori (Natives of New Zealand) garden.
It was my 30th birthday! So we got dressed up and went out to a really nice dinner at a restaurant called Cullen’s. I even pulled out my seldom-used “big night out” make-up kit… Which for this year, consists of an eyeliner.
The next day, we got up, checked out, and watched the Super Bowl at the only sports bar where it was playing, in a casino. Steelers lost L.
