Dodger's Win!

Got to hang out with Randy, Lorene, Brian, James, and James's friends Cara and Greg. Greg apparently moved to his apartment because he wanted to live somewhere where he could walk to Dodger Stadium, which we did (first time ever). We started the night at The Short Stop, a cool little bar serving $2 PBRs.

Great game, Padilla no-hit the Padres through 6 and ended up pitching a 2-hit shutout. I think our moral support at the stadium had something to do with it. Pretty classic evening at a Dodger Game, some pictures below.

The Calm Before The Storm

We're here in Pasadena after moving from SD. Shout-outs to those that helped with the move: Stephen, Jean-Luc, JJ, Brian, and Norgaard. Driving a 17-foot U-Haul was easier than expected, it really drives like a dream, if your dream needs 11 foot clearance and gets 6-9 mpg.

We've gotten to catch up with family in between errands to get ready for the trip. Last night we met up with Katie and Jesse for drinks an food at The Dresden, a bar made famous by Swingers. Looking forward to seeing more friends and family, which includes a Dodger game on Wednesday.

Friday we fly to New Orleans, which is notorious for storms.

And so it begins...

We'd like to introduce everyone to our blog: Megan and Vince's Excellent Adventure. Here you will find excerpts, photos, and random thoughts throughout our travels. We'll try to keep it short and sweet, nobody wants to read a novel, unless it includes lusty vampires or prepubescent wizards.

This intro post is where we will post our schedule so that people know where we will be and when. This way you can plan your trips accordingly to meet up with us (c'mon, you know you want to), so check back often. Also, if you have friends or family in any of these places, we would love to meet up with some locals. Just leave a comment or email us.
